Posted by Deanna Sebastian on 01/03/04 at 02:46 PMMy Mother had stroke in August. Was previously on coumadin for blood clots but could not take due to stroke. She is now home but has developed big dark purple areas on upper left leg on both the inside and outside of leg. Very painful but not open wound yet. Has been treated for pain relief only but ulcers (not sure they are ulcers, abut hurt very much like ulcers)have only gotten worse.
Any suggestions regarding treatment and information?
Would be grateful for anything. Thanks
