The reason you are in the bathroom more on the weekends since you have taken the medicine is because you are not supposed to drink with this medicine. The reason you feel so crappy after you drink one you have taken the medicine is because they do use it to help with alcoholic withdrawal symptoms. I know that I used to and still get really sick even after I drink just one drink one I have taken the medicine, so if I were you I would just lay off hard liquor or beer for a while. Yes it might put a damper in your weekend social life but you will feel a whole lot better very quickly.
