High Colesterol Scare!

I am at 248 for the bad colesterol, 5'10" and 169 lbs. Active w/ horses and can't for the life of me figure the outcome of this tes out. I watch what I eat and stay active. I am worried about taking ZOCOR. (Dr's. advice) Is there anything else that will get this under control without the concern of liver damage or depression. Please e-mail me I don't think I can find this page again! I am not a computer wizzard!!
