My 17 month old daughter has excema also. She has had it her whole life. It does seem to react to her body\'s heat. When we are out in the heat of the day she breaks out badly. I have heard that the sun can cause break out- but when are you in the sun and not hot? I don\'t know which is the true culprit. She breaks out badly if we go to the pool so I don\'t go anymore. I am not sure if it was jsut the heat or a combination of the heat and the chlorine. Lindsey breaks out mostly on her knees and elbows, but when it is bad it is all over her legs and arms. I bathe her 2 times a week and put lotion on her almost everyday. It keeps it down, but I can\'t prevent the break-outs. The cream she had (Elidel) worked for a few months but it doesn\'t seem to help anymore.
