Posted by Alice on 07/06/03 at 05:57 PMMy 9 year old son was on Topamax for about 2 weeks when he started to have seizures. He started out at 25mg twice daily and was increased to 50 mg twice daily. He then started having seizures. He would get a blank look in his eyes, and would become unresponsive and then pass out. He also stated that he had \"words\" going through his mind. The Topamax was discontinued and he has not had any further seizures. He was on Topamax for chronic back pain, and neuopathy pain. If anyone has had similar problems please email me.
