It contains Ononis, bupleurum, angelica and Chai Hu. The Chai Hu is scarce so Shiseido spent 9 years researching how to grow it and harvest it. Shiseido is a very holistic company - has done a lot of research on Chinese and Japanese botanicals, does not use alph-hydroxy-acid (too damaging), and trains their consultants very well - anyone I\\\'ve spoke with is quite knowledgeable.
