In terms of general information, it is possible to have a light bleed in the first several months of pregnancy, but it should always be checked out. The pregnancy test checks for a hormone,HCG, that grows very rapidly in your body when you become pregnant. The level of hormone is dependent on how long it has been since you conceived, and should not be dependent on any bleeding. So I would generally expect a pregnancy test to be accurate regardless of bleeding.
