Late period on pill
Posted by buzzy on 05/26/04 at 07:58 PMI have been on the pill (Marvelon) for the past two years and have always gotten regular periods. Recently I went to Europe for a week and started taking the pill way later than I normally do (about 12 hours later, with the time difference). I was on week three (the final week before the sugar pills).
When I came back, my period was one day late. I had sex with my boyfriend on the day my period came (this was the first time I had sex in about two months because I was away). Could I have gotten pregnant, even though I got my period that night? I am a bit worried because I have been feeling sick recently and have tender breasts. I am waiting until I am due for my next period (next week) to know for sure.
