Mirena -- a nightmare
Posted by Jean on 06/02/04 at 05:13 AMI have had the Mirena coil inserted now for a couple of years. In the beginning it was a godsend for stopping my heavy periods, I was very ill and anaemic. Long term I have gained a terrible lot of weight, bringing with it depression at my size. I also have joint pains which I never had before and other symptoms. I am thinking seriously about having it removed. Think seriously about having it inserted PLEASE!! Best wishes Jean
