I too, have had the IUD. However, mine wasthe copper/non hormonal IUD. Nevertheless, I have had female related complications since six months after having the IUD put in. I had a 11cm endometrioma removed and then again two years late another endometrioma removed from my right ovary along with apolyp in my uterice. I had the IUD removed and do not plan on a new one. My doctor, who I wonderful, does not feel there is any connection between the two...he too feels that this is hormonal...but I never had these problems unntil the IUD. My intutition tells me to steer clear of the IUD altogehter! So, my next dilemma is Birth contol and what to use...any suggestions?
