If you\'re lucky, you won\'t feel anything for several days...when I had mine, the nurse and others kept pushing my morphine drip button! LOL Once I left the hospital, though, things got back to normal. My lower back was tender, but that was probably not because of the surgery, except b/c i was on my back for so long. My lower tummy felt heavy and it felt really good to lie on my side with pillows tucked all around. Have a couple soft pillows to roll against when you\'re in bed. Other than that, I didn\'t feel anything. Try to get up and moving as soon as possible, because it will help prevent a lot of gas, and get things moving again. the first drip that they had me on was demerol and it made me sick as a dog. THAT really hurt. Don\'t hesitate to ask them to switch you to something else if you need it. It\'s also going to be hard to potty for a few days. I had just a partial--they took my uterus only, and did some repair work while they were at it. I had a lot of problems during delivery. Good luck!
