Re: Re: pain with lung nodules?

I had an abdomen/pelvic CT Scan as I have been having gallbladder problems since end Dec/04. I don\'t have stones and four doctors do not feel removing my gallbladder will resolve my problems. I have an enlarged gallbladder and an enlarged bile duct; causing me to be nauseous 24 hours a day and in various degrees of pain every day. The CT Scan came back saying I had 6 different size nodules on my lungs and a couple of small ones on my liver. I freaked out when I heard the word \"nodule\" as in 1998 I was told a \"nodule\" was found and it turned out to be thyroid cancer and I had to have my thyroid removed. I know not all nodules are malignant, however nodules is not a good word for me to hear. I am now waiting to have a Chest CT Scan. The anxiety of waiting makes life difficult on a daily basis. I am not telling my 76 year old mom as she has just recovered from a stroke she had in November/04, thankfully no residual damages. She took a horrible fall a couple of weeks before the stroke and we are sure the fall caused the stroke. She fractured a vertabrae in her spine, so that took forever to heal, it\'s still healing.

I have many health issues; fibromyalgia, trigeminal neuralgia, osteoporosis, arthritis and the lisst just keeps growing. Obviously my autoimmune system is not working too well.

What is your problem with your lungs? Please respond. Dianne
