I had the coil inserted about 2 months ago and i am still getting very light bleeding/spooting. the first month i bleed heavily everyday, slowing down at night, and had quite bad period pain. Pain killers or Feminax stopped the tummy pain but i did find that i got quite run down and tired with the blood loss. I had to take Iron Suppliments for a few weeks but they can make you constipated, so take vegetable iron extracts instead. Its not nice having to wear a tampons or a towel for that amount of time but hopefully worth it in the end. My Doc told me i would \"bleed in between Periods\" for about 3 months.

Sometimes its hard to be a woman!

Hand in there, stay full of viamins if you bleed for more than 2 months go see the doc.
