Changing estrogen levels before your period can change the pH (how acid) the vaginal canal is. Yeast prefers that lower pH and increases growth.
Altering the pH of the vaginal canal, working toward altering other factors that help yeast grow (sugar, breathable underwear, probiotics)and looking into other ways to modify your estrogen levels slightly (soy), might be worth discussing with your doctor.
