Bulimic and has protien in urine.... what does this mean?

Hi I\'m 23 and I have been diagnosed with bulimia for almost a year. I was followed for it for almost 7 years but this past year I have lost a rapid amount of weight. My physician told me that a urine sample she collected in March showed a trace of protein in it and then there weren\'t any other signs of it until my last urine sample that she collected at the end of June which she said was beyond a trace. I left the doctors office another urine sample today but what happens if there is protein in it again? Am I hurting my kidneys? Please help and advise. Danielle
