No periods over 1.5 yrs. and just started bleeding last tuesday. The blood was bright red and not maroon with clots like I had my whole life. A lot of blood not just spotting. It has gotten less now by friday and clots and feels like end of the period.
I had done FSH urine test that came out negetive which is strange (before I started bleeding to check hormones -I am losing hair a lot).
Also, I have slight pain on one side(near upper bikini line) from time to time and a big sebacious cyst on outer labia on same side.
I should also say that I used to have painful periods (but regular) so took some Dong Quai and it gave me bleeding for 3 weeks then stopped bleeding altogether for over 1.5 yrs. I just took a herbal menopause pill from health store which had Dong Quai as one of ingredients (in addition to others like black cohosh) and got the same type of bleeding again. I can\'t be certain if that was what caused it but it seems very suspicious. I am hoping that is what it is.
and not cancer.
I am worried about cancer. No job and insurance problem.
What are the chances of gyno cancer?
How fast growing is the uterine cancer? Does it take years to develop and can I wait 2 or 3 months?
Really wished lived in Canada or Europe or even some 3rd world countries have health care for catastrophes. Yes, a lot of 3rd world countries have health care, you\'d be surprised. US, richest country in world can\'t do for its people that countries all over the world can do - quality of life issue. We just don\'t have the money for it. We are the least advanced country in terms of catastrophic safety net for health for people. Our country hits you when you can least afford it when you\'re down on your luck. no wonder poorest british have better health than richest americans! Sorry, just makes me mad that i paid for health insurance for 45 years of life and now that i need it, not there.
