Jane, I am so sorry for your suffering. I can totally relate. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago, but was never told I would have PTC for the rest of my life. After all my suffering, I opted to have optic nerve phenestration in June of 04\', I was told I may have double vision temporairly after the surgery, but should have relief. Well, to make a long story short, I can out of surgery blind in my right eye. To make a long story short, I also have suffered from addiction to Lortab. I have had numerous LP\'s with only some relief. I am now going to see a neurosurgeon at Barrows Neurological Institute in Phx, Az and have opted to have a shunt put in. I hope you have a good neurologist and or neurosurgeon. This is a very terrible disease, and very hard for people in our lives to understand. Good luck to you and God Bless....
