Wow, there is definetly power in knowledge! And that is what I have gained here! Along with the comfort of knowing I am not crazy and not alone!!! I just found out that I have ptc about three weeks ago! Months of heachaches and rounds of antibiotics thinking that it was sinus infection! Then my vision went from strained to painful to double. I lasted with the double vision for a week and a different doctor FINALLY got me to a neuro doc who did a spinal RIGHT AWAY!!! My pressure was 600! has anyone had that, I am so curious to know these things?! I had to stay in the hospital for a week and and still on the steroids for another 5 weeks and lots of Diamox. Once I get off the steroids I want to focus on losing weight, it is just so hard right now. I want to eat all the time! Anyone out there feeling with me? Talk to me!! Also, anyone who is apprehensive about the spianl tap? I imagined it was going to hurt so much and it didn\'t! I squeezed the nurses hand and I didn\'t even think it was that bad, and I hate getting any kind of shot. I will probably have to have another to check the pressure here pretty soon, and I don\'t even mind. I just am scared to know this is something that could come back. Any insight????? Thanks for listening and all of my prayers to ptc girls out there who are scared or in pain!!!! Love Julie
