Well, I have PTC. To get the diagnosis you will have an MRI done to determine that there is nothing wrong in your brain. Then you will have a spinal tap done to check the pressure of your cerebral-spinal fluid. If they see an elevated pressure, they will probably put you on a medicine called Diamox to help the pressure go down. This is the good thing. All the stuff on the Internet can totally freak you out, but MOST people respond to medication, and PTC goes away for MOST people after a year of treatment with meds. I hope this helps.
