I am 21 years old. I was dianosed with PTC in 1999, but I had had it for a long time before that. I have really bad headaches, but not normal headaches. There is tons of pressure, so much that my hearing goes in and out. I\'ve had a CAT scan (which showed nothing. Then I had a spinal tap and they reduced the pressure of my spinal fluid. the nerves behind my eyes swell a lot, which caused my tunnel vision. Even though the swelling has been down, there is no way to reverse my vision problems. I can\'t drive or anything because of it. also, I told the Dr. that light affects it because I can see so much better at night, but I can\'t see anything during the day time, especially if it is the least bit sunny out. The last time I went to the Dr. , he told me that it doesn\'t look like it is getting worse, but it is not going to get better. I was also told that if I lost weight, it may reduce the spinal pressure and stuff, but nothing is going to reverse my vision problems. I still have headaches, a few times a week, but I just try to deal with them. I had a horrible Dr. for awhile, but even though I have a great one now, there\'s not much they can do. I know how frustrating it can be.
