My daughter and I have PTC. We were on Tetracycline at the times. She was 15 and I was 24. I have been in remission for the past 12 years, while she has been in remission for the past 2 years. We were not overweight at the times. I recovered faster than my daughter. She still has syptoms that plague her constantly. Things to watch out for(through trial and error for us), caffine, high salt(in foods and drinks), florescent lights, computer use(the moniter), over-working and stress. If you can not find a doctor that understands what you are going through, Dr. Bradley K. Farris of the Dean A.
