One was 12 and all of the others have been 22 to 28 (which was the last reading on March 4,2005). He is 9 years old. His headaches are back in full force and they are talking about doing another tap next Thursday and see if he fits the critera for a shunt. I\'m just currous what the normal pressure reading is for a child his age. He seems to do better if the Dr. brings him down to between 9 and 12. The taps used to last at least one to two months, now only 3 to 4 days. How do you feel about shunts? I\'m realy scared about this, but I\'m so tired of him being in so much pain. Any opinion would be helpful.
