My daughter, now 20 has been suffering from supposedly ptc since April,2002. Her optic nerve is affected, as well as, headaches. She has had several spinal taps to remove the excess spinal fluid and it does seem to help. See an opthamologist that knows something about ptc because we did and they are taking pictures of her optic nerve and is keeping her on medication. Diamox and Topamax are the meds she\'s on to reduce the cerebrospinal pressure. The neurologist also says to keep her weight down as the pressure in abdomen can cause pressure build up. She isn\'t overweight either. Please reply with any help you have for me in this scary situation. Her respiratory system might be affected now. She seems to not be able to breathe in or out very well and is not wheezing. She does has asthma. She is currently getting in to see a pulmonologist after taking a pulmonary function test. Paula
