I was diagnosed after a whiplash injury & have spent years trying to find out what is wrong with me. I finally was diagnosed with a closed brain injury. Diamox made me very ill and the one spinal tap I did have after my eye exam, did not have the extremely high opening pressure that they expected. Since the tap I have incredible tenderness in my lumbar region, even after 3 years. Has anyone had this happen to them? The person performing the tap hit the bone in my spine, but said that it wouldn\'t have any negative effects....was he right or could this be a possible reason for the pain?
