i was diagnosed a year ago a thought the same thing they put me on diamox. and it has helped so much. but in my case i almost went blind and i wasn\'t the worst case they had ever seen. but for some reason it affected my eyes first no headache just a lot of presure i was terrified and neck pain tunnel vission and blurred vission they did my lumbar puncture and found out what i had my ptic nerves were also swollen that it what gave them the idea of what i had. i have 4year old twins and a two year old. but thanks to the treatment and the doctors. it will be ok it is verry treatable. email me i went through a lot because they still dont know what kick started my ptc off. i went through all the blood work and they found nothing. but i seem to be ok 1 year later. mary ann
