This is a late entry, but in case you check: I\'ve been told I have something called maebomeonitis(sp), which is a failure of the maebomian glands to bathe the eyes and allow proper drainage....ie, the lids are clogged up, so the eylashes fall out. Mine are all but gone. There are some lid washes, which may help some...nothing dramatic.I have some new drops; cyclosporine, which will take 6 months to have an effect on moisture levels, which may or may not help the eyelash problem. Seems like a \"chicken-egg\" thing. So, that\'s all I have right now. Oh, one guy said tetracycline might help, taken daily, as with acne. Any new ideas on your end? JN
