I also have started experiencing flu-like symptoms the day before my period – fever, chills, severe body aches that seems to move all around, no sore throat this time, but a runny nose. I was just researching on line and it said that the body gets rid of pathogens before releasing an egg. These type of flu symptoms do feel like a cleansing.
