Thank you Rob P. for the information on zinc and eczema. I used it on my son as an infant, in its common formula Desitin for infants. How does Desitin compare to your home-made zinc cream and do you think the zinc oxide would have a different effect than zinc pyrithione? I would also caution that, in my experience, the people who get the best results from zinc were zinc deficient and that a person who had sufficient zinc might not benefit as much.
