For my family, the lotion that worked for us in the treatment of excema was Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk lotion for sensitive skin of all ages. It healed a severe excema breakout (total body) on my 3 month old niece in two weeks. Because it’s a natural product, it worked with the skin to heal the skin. She is now 2 years old, still uses the lotion as a daily moisturizer and is still excema free. However, for those who desire creams developed specifically for the treatment of excema, there is an all natural cream on the market called Ecze-mate that can be purchased for $44.00. It has been testified to produce extreme results within 5 days. It’s produced by the Derma Therapy Clinic in Bethesda, Maryland. You can contact them at their toll free number for more information. 1-866-329-3628
Whatever you decide to do in your quest to heal the skin of the eczema, remember to stay away from the use of steroids, which eat away at the skin’s epidermis. Remember to treat the whole, not just the symptom. Treat the internal, external, and foreign. Build up your immune system, moisturize the skin, and identify the allergens. Understand that the skin is dehydrated and needs replenishing; thus the need to treat the internal as well as the external, because one plays off of the other. Therefore, by treating the deficiency that caused the excema, you actually heal the skin of the disease. So understand that when your resistance is low, the skin is dehydrated, the moisture barrier (skin protector) is depleted, and now things that don’t bother others, give you an allergic reaction. DRINK WATER!!! EAT MORE VEGETABLES. MOISTURIZE WHILE THE SKIN IS STILL DAMP, IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR SHOWER TO RETAIN THE MOISTURE IN THE SKIN. Knowledge is power and experience has made me a compassionate teacher. It’s because I haven’t forgotten the suffering and because we found healing, that I write. Remember, treating the symptom only brings temporary relief;while treating the whole, brings healing.
