My sister has a beautiful 7 week old baby girl. My niece has been diagnosed with reflux and is fitful for most of the day. My sister gets 4-5 hours a night of sleep and naps when she can during the day. I spoke to her today – she is tired and at an extreme loss. My niece is taking baby Zantac and has been improving – but still seems unbareable when day in and day out. I was hoping that someone has advice that I can share with my sister to make her life a little easier and more enjoyable. It breaks my heart to see her unhappy. The hardest part is that my sister is finding it difficult to bond with the baby, feel confident that having the baby was the right decision and to not feel “jiped”” because she doesn’t have a “”normal”” baby. I would greatly appreciate anyone who can give me some advice beyond the general advice listed on most websites.
