ND vs. MD – Naturopathic Medicine Network

I am really having difficulty deciding whether or not I would like to attend a ND program or MD program and then extend my education to AOM following residency. Can anyone reflect upon the benefits of the ND program as I’m getting mixed signals regarding the validity of treatment and the throughness of the education. Philosophically, I want naturopatic medicine, but I’m swayed by credibility and social challenges especially being from a conservative mid-east state.
