When I was considering enrolling at the CCNM in Canada, I did some research on naturopathy and naturopathy schools. On the internet, I repeatedly encountered the quackwatch website, as well as the ANMA website and I found it very disturbing to read these extremely aggressive attacks on any form of alternative medicine. However, i was not discouraged but rather laughed when reading the material on the website because it is so brutal that it sounds more like Dr. Barrett is threatened by naturopaths and has something to prove. I hope few people are indoctrinated by his aggressivity and go to the AANP website instead, which is much more comprehensive and tolerant.
In fact, I found the quackwatch website somewhat similar to a cheap tabloid..full of exaggerated judgements and exclamation marks!
