Dear Ellie,

I would contact Clayton directly and ask for local graduates so you can talk to people in your area about the program. If you have read other posts, you will realize I’m in “the other (four year licensed ND)camp,”” but I also think you should have all the information. On Clayton’s site you can email graduates with web sites, because when I’ve contacted Clayton they didn’t have an alumni referral list and didn’t know the number of graduates or which state they were in. That’s what really switched me off of them, because I think a school should care about the graduates. But check with them directly, maybe things have changed. As for the other school Simmonne writes about, someone just wrote me about it. It’s in Santa Fe, NM and seems to have classes, etc. But the guys running it just seem to have switched over from another distance learning school, which makes me nervous. Again, contacting the places directly and asking for graduates to call will give you a good sense of what they’re about.
