Thanx for responding everyone. My observations have been much like MS2’s experiences. I don’t have anything to compare the basic science program to. It’s pretty straightforward western science. Physiology seems a bit lightweight and anatomy is made that much more stressful by a nasty, arrogant instructor, but otherwise the classes seem sound.
The treatment classes, on the other hand, as well as the “naturopathic philosophy”” classes I’ve experienced thus far are very grounded in “”New Age”” philosphy and not nearly as scientifically founded as the schools promotional materials suggest. Also there semms to be a predeliction for blaming every conceivable illness on food allergies (mostly wheat)rhather than really “”treating the cause””.
