rotator cuff tear – Naturopathic Medicine Network

Has anyone experience with full thickness rotator cuff tear of the supraspinatus involving the entire tendon. Approx. 3.0 cm of retraction. Also, partial tear invoving the anterior quarter of infraspinatus. I am currently doing PT and not in a lot of pain and have complete motion of arm except no strength. I am 62 years old and been swimming for 9 years. Looks like surgery but not sure of a good outcome. Maybe better left as is but have some limitation in activity such as swimming. Are my swimming days over. Thanks for a reply.
