Thank you Amy. Yes I am aware that an acupuncture license is necessary and plan on getting on in addition to an ND.
Also, you must have misunderstood my message. I did not leave a medical school. I took the MCAT with intentions of applying to both allopathic and naturopathic programs but after talking with many MDs and NDs as well as a lot of volunteering, I saw a lot more satisfaction on the part of both practitioners and patients in naturopathy. This in addition to the reasons I stated previously is why I have chosen to apply only to naturopathic programs.
While we are on the subject however, could you let me know what naturopathic program you were in, so I can avoid it, and explain how it was lacking in integrity?
As for Dr. Weil, I think he’s great.
