possible help for effexor withdrawal – Naturopathic Medicine Network

I was weaned very slowly with doctor supervision. I experienced EVERYTHING during my withdrawal that is being described in these threads within 36 hours of my last dose!! My 2nd day of withdrawal, instead of breaking down and taking another effexor or just plain killing myself to escape the withdrawal hell, I called my doctor and he prescribed 20 mg of prozac/day for 1 week. Within 12 hours or so after the first dose, I felt some relief. I still can’t believe it. The effects are not 100% gone but I would say about 80%, which for me at least, feels miraculous! I can actually turn my head now without every part of my body pulsing! Please EVERYONE!! Talk to your doctors. It is worth it to find any relief!!!
