Re: Help with Effexor withdrawal symptoms

I am currently on effexor xr and have just begun taking hourly doses of mineral oil from 8 AM to 8 PM daily to deal with an intestinal problem (caused 2 years ago by Nardil). I am experiencing signs of effexor withdrawal and my psychiatrist wonders if the mineral oil is preventing the absorption of the medication. There appears to be no known research on this, therefore no suggestions about how to handle it. Anyone know where I could look for answers?
