I went through the same side effect went I got off of Paxil. I really thought I was dying. I also could see and hear electrical shocks all around me. I could not get off the couch for two weeks because of the severe side effects. It didn’t help that I got off cold turkey, but I could not afford my medicine either. Now that I have insurance, I am trying Effexor, and I pray it works. I have been on it for two weeks now, but have not noticed any difference yet. All I can say is, the side effects will pass, even if you think they won’t. I know how you feel though, I couldn’t work or go to school through this whole deal. Let me know if you find anything to help with fibromyalgia, I have searched and searced for help for this also and can not find anything that will help me. Believe me, I feel the same way you do, and we are not alone. Please do not give up. I feel that there is help out there, it may just take time to find out what works best. I will pray for everyone who suffers with depression/anxiety because I know first hand how scared, helpless, and unbearable it all is. I suffer every day and I pray that we all will find something that can help us live a happy life.
