In the last 5 years I’ve had 3 episodes of extreem anxiety followed by deep depression which lasted for 3-9 months. Each time Effexor came to my rescue and saved me from the black hole. At first I hated the idea of not being a pure version of me and having to rely on a chemical aid. Now however, experience has taught me that having a daily dose that helps me stay healthy is an identical situation to the numerous asthma suffers that take treatment for their over-active immune systems. In England there is a negative opinion to Western medicine and yet these drugs are far more controlled than the alternative cocktails offered by eastern medicine or herbal medicine. If it works – why question it?
