Hi Lisa: I had been on 75 mg of Effexor for about 4 years – on 5/8/05 I dropped down to 37.5 my doctor told me to take for a week and then go off. However, we were in stressful times selling our house, moving to Israel, etc., so I kept taking the 37.5 – no problem – now it has been 2 days off Effexor altogether – today I am very lightheaded – should I try every other day.
