I too had an episode w/ Uticaria when I was about your daughters age. I think a lot of mine had to do with my hormones changing (going thru puberty). However, my mom and I both think that I was allergic to citric acid. Anytime I had orange juice, ketchup, mayo, mustard (vinegar) I would break out in hives all over my body. I hope your daughters’ allergies have improved….maybe my history will give you some insight on her problem!
