I have a lump on the outside gum above a tooth that I had a root canal and cap. I had the procedure over a year and half ago, but for the past 6 months I have this lump that doesn’t hurt nor does it go away. When the lump began it was diagnosed as a plugged saliva gland. The major swelling subsided, but this lump has remained. Is it an abcess?
