I have been on effexor for a little over a year now. When I saw my doctor last she said it should be okay to quit “cold turkey”” and I had to twist her arm to give me a lower dosage. At this very moment I am suffering–nausea, vomiting, and the legendary “”brain zaps””. No one does understand this–how could they when it’s obviously not normal. Plus, my once normal libido has been null and void since taking this drug. There must be something that can be done.
