(br?ts) a broad descriptive term once used for kidney disease with proteinuria, usually glomerulonephritis. The name Bright’s disease is derived from a description of the diseases published in 1827 by Richard Bright, an English physician. Brights is a very, very broad term and not a specific disease term for modern medicine, if you are diagnosed please ask for a more specific term from your physician or a referral to a Nephrologist.
