I have just found a lump on the back of my neck, small, but hard and not painful. I saw a surgeon yesterday and he said it was a lymph node and gave me a course of antibiotics which I am taking. I am worried sick about it. Do you recommend going to an ENT rather than a general surgeon to take it out and look at. Also, what does the surgery entail?
