I have the same lump, I once thought it was fat, but I slimmed down and still couldn’t get rid of it, I asked my doctor and he said it was muscle. It runs from left to right under the hair line to my shoulders. I can pinch it and wiggle it. It doesn’t hurt just uncomfortable and limits my movement of my neck. I don’t know if I should get a second opinion after reading everyones postings. Please let me know what your doctor has found, I get embrassed and I am conscience about wearing shirts without collars. Thats in advance for your time to reply. Have a blessed day, Isaac
