Just found this thread and thought I would contribute. My lump is at the very top of my spine, at the base of my neck, and just feels like an enlarged bit of spinal bone. I have prodded and pressed it numerous times and it doesn’t move, so I’m pretty sure it is bone. Can you have a cyst underneath the bone? or a muscular knot? In photos and in the mirror it looks horrible because it destroys the line of my neck and it makes me look really hunched. Maybe it’s just posture? Is there anything that can be done if so?
