You should see a urologist and get some answers. I hope there is something someplace on the net that can answer your questions. When you are diabetic and your sugar is high, it is stress on the kidneys. You should have a microalbumin test every year to see if there is any kidney damage. I know that because I have had diabetes for a year now and my nutritionist has told me to have the docter check this yearly. Hope you find answers, let me know.
