Hi, I’ve just had the same problem, last month, 12mm nodule only at right lung, I was scared to death, I have a child 8 years old, and I dont’ want to die. But I have to tell you that nodules in a lung in most of the cases like yours or mine (yang, no smoker)is nothing but either scar tissues or previous infections, that could happen really long time ago, that you didn’t even noticed. My doctor after CT sent me to Pet Scan and it came negative. He gave me a great example that made me feel much better. It was the research about lung cancer, and doctors did the CT to 400 men, all are very heavy smokers. And they found 1000 lung nodules, it means some of them had more then 1, and only 30 from those nodules where malignant. There is a lot of people with nodules in their lungs, but the difference beetwen you ane them, only that you know about it, and they don’t. I cannot give you any advice, I am not a doctor. I can only tell what my doctor said, he decided to wait 1 year and do the CT again, check if it’s not growing. I hope you get another oppinion and good luck. Olga
